Track view
This chapter deals with the track view of Melys. It consists of two parts; a leftmost information pane and to the right a pane showing the existing parts and current play position. It is possible to drag the divider between these panes with the button to display more or less of each pane.
Around the track panes you have the scroll bars that allow you to move around in the song. In the corner where the two scroll bars meet there are little magnifying glass icons, these allow you to zoom in and out of the track view.
The track menu
There is a menu that applies only to the track view and will only be available when the track view is visible. The following operations can be performed from this menu.
- Add
This adds a new track. The new track is added at the end of the listing.
- Delete
Delete all currently selected tracks.
- Delete empty
Delete all the empty tracks. Tracks are only considered empty if they have never been used since they were created or if all parts that they contained have been deleted.
- Properties
This brings up the track properties box for the first selected track. It is an alternative to simply clicking on the selected track. See the track properties section for more details.
